We had a wonderful trip to Virginia and North Carolina. Stella was an absolute rock star the entire trip and made an excellent co-pilot for mom on the trip. We had many adventures and met lots of new friends. Some fun events included meeting Aunt Whitney and Uncle Jon in Fredericksburg, meeting Grandma-Great in Virginia Beach (Stella was also a huge hit with the folks at Westminister Canterbury!) and meeting lots of family friends in Winchester. Stella also went swimming for the first time as it was a million degrees in Virginia. We're already looking forward to our next trip home. Lots of fun pictures included in the blog detailing our trip.
We will have a busy week as we prepare for Stella's first trip to Colorado and her 6 month birthday!!

Country Roads, Take Me Home...
Today Stella and mom are driving home to Virginia! We're breaking the trip up over two days and spending tonight in Charlotte with Jules, Matt and Missy. Mom is excited for Stella to see where she grew up. Of course, the grandparents Riley are very excited to see our girl and we're looking forward to meeting many new friends. We'll be adding pictures from our adventure soon!

All Better!
Stella had her first illness this week but I am happy to report that we are feeling quite fine and happy now. She was diagnosed with Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease...neat! Just kidding, she felt pretty lousy for a couple of days with a high fever and just general discomfort. But, some Tylenol and extra hugs and kisses from mom and dad seemed to do the trick. On a side note, while we were at the doctor, Stella was weighed and she is now 15lbs, 3oz!!

Big Weekend!
We had lots of fun celebrating our first Memorial Day! Big events included a visit from our cousin Jules, a Braves baseball game and rolling over for the first time on Memorial Day! We were awesome enough to do this while Skyping with the grandparents Riley- very cool!
