12 month Stats!
Stella had a 12 month check-up on Friday and she continues to grow like a weed! She weighed in at 21.3 pounds and is 28.5 inches tall! We were given the go-ahead to start her on whole milk (which she currently is turning her nose up at!). We were also told to turn the carseat to facing forward and that has been a huge hit! Stella talks constantly now that she can see us :)

Snowed In!
It's been a wild week! We celebrated Stella (and mom's birthday!) on January 6th. The Riley's flew in from Virginia and we had a party for Stella on Saturday. Stella had a great time with her smash cake and opening presents. The Riley's narrowly escaped the Atlanta blizzard which hit about 2 hours after their plane departed for Virginia. We got about 6 inches of snow which has been beautiful but literally brought Atlanta to a standstill. There are not snowplows here, so it's been interesting. We haven't left the house since Sunday. Things are still pretty bad here, but hopefully we will start to thaw out soon! We've been enjoying the time at home with Stella!

Happy New Year!
We spent a wonderful Christmas in Virginia and Pennsylvania! It was great to see both of our families and to see some snow. Stella very much enjoyed opening presents, the paper and boxes were an absolute hit! Santa was good to all of this year :) We're looking forward to an exciting and happy 2011!
